What is the Women in Medicine Summit™?
The annual Women in Medicine® Summit is a two-day unique and innovative continuing medical education (CME) event that began in 2019. The 2023 Summit garnered 76 million impressions on Twitter alone during programming, and the conference hosts 350-450 international attendees annually. Keynote lectures from nationally and internationally renowned thought leaders, breakout sessions, workshops, and networking events are led by diverse individuals with the purpose of delivering evidence-based talks, tools and solutions for addressing structural barriers and fixing the system. A previous attendee stated, “WIMS creates a much-needed space where empowerment of the woman physician is a priority for all, and in doing so, fosters the growth of female physician leaders.”
